La Loma del Montecillo Botanical Trail is a great hiking route in Torrebaja, El Rincón de Ademuz. It’s the ideal plan for a family day out in which you will be treated to incredible views that unfold before you as you walk. How do you fancy it? 

La Loma del Montecillo Botanical Trail takes you along a simple path which doesn’t have any steep parts. It’s suitable for all walkers, no matter your level of fitness. At just over 800 metres long, the walk is short and sweet and clearly signposted to ensure navigation is as straightforward as possible. 

The route takes you up an elevation next to the centre of Torrebaja, affording spectacular views of the River Ebrón, River Turia and a number of towns. If you’re a photography enthusiast, make sure you don’t forget your camera. 

This hiking trail also gives you the chance to discover some of Torrebaja’s historic heritage as you’ll come across an area with trenches dating from the Spanish Civil War along the way. With history and views, this is a trail that has it all. 

There are information panels giving insights into the thriving local wildlife that can be found along La Loma del Montecillo Botanical Trail.
