The Region of Valencia promotes accessible and inclusive tourism throughout the region so absolutely everyone can live its delights.

Renowned for our warm welcome, the Region of Valencia is committed to making every single city, town, hotel, restaurant, beach, nature trail and much much more accessible to absolutely everyone. Our region is filled with historic villages where time has stood still, paradise beaches on the turquoise Mediterranean and beautiful cities where the old meets the new, and we want you to be able to live it and love it all with total peace of mind

The city of València is a wonderful example of accessible tourism with many spaces adapted to cater to all types of needs. Cabecera park, for instance, located in what used to be the rbed of the river Turia, offers accessibility ramps and level and anti-skid surfaces. Many theatres in the city are also accessible and have plays performed in sign language.

The Costa Blanca is also committed to accessible tourism and is prepared for all types of travellers and visitors. Here you can visit the fifty or so beaches that have been adapted so people with reduced mobility can enjoy the sun, sea and sand. There are ramps, fun and educational areas for people with learning disabilities and floating wheelchairs so that everyone who wants to take a dip in the Mediterranean can enjoy the peaceful waters.

The province of Alicante has a great number of wheelchair-friendly hotels and restaurants, guaranteeing easy access into the building, as well as in the guestrooms and bathrooms. And if you want to get out into the great outdoors, you can enjoy the freedom of the four vías verdes or greenways that have been adapted for wheelchair users, namely Alcoy, Maigmó, Torrevieja and Xixarra 2. Wonderful natural places where you can breathe in the fresh air and gaze at the beautiful landscapes.

And last but by no means least, Castelló de la Plana is a haven of accessibility. It has been recognised as one of the most accessible cities in Europe, following years of adaptations to the town planning, public spaces, transport, communication and information, making it a place where absolutely everyone can feel safe and comfortable

We want you to discover the wonders of the Region of Valencia in the company of your loved ones with total peace of mind. We can’t wait for your next visit!
