Fiestas de Moros y Cristianos, Petrer’s Moors and Christians Festival, is taking place from the 16 to the 20 May. Combining tradition, culture, majesty and fun, the event is the excuse you've been looking for to visit Petrer and see the destination in full fiesta mode. The parades are spectacular. Don’t miss the entrada of the Christians and the entrada of the Moors, which have five groups on each side. The blessing of the palm, the traditional guerrilla and the estafetas of the Moors' and Christians' ambassadors are just some of the events held each year.
