Experience a cherished, long-standing festival that's firmly rooted in Nules.

La Festa de Les Barraquetes, in Nules, Castellón, is held on the eighth day after Corpus Christi and dates back to the 15th century. In this much-loved tradition, the children of the town take centre stage alongside the barraquetes: small structures made from reeds gathered in the surrounding fields and decorated with flowers.

Once they are ready, the children sit beside their barraquetes to watch the procession as it makes its way through the streets of Nules.

La Festa de Les Barraquetes in Nules brings together devotion, tradition and children's participation, keeping one of the town's oldest and most distinctive customs very much alive. It's an experience you simply have to enjoy for yourself.
