Come and enjoy the great atmosphere of a festival celebrated in the streets.

The Sant Antoni festivities, or San Antonio festivities, in Les Coves de Vinromà, in Castellón, are held every year on the second weekend of January. The day begins with a communal breakfast and carting the ròssec or dry wood by horse to setup the hoguera or traditional San Antonio bonfire.

After the bonfire is lit, horses and riders return to show off their skills. In the afternoon, the blessing of the coquetes, horses and other animals takes place. Les coquetes are one of the Saint Anthony feast day's most widespread traditions. They are cakes that are shared amongst those present, accompanied by muscatel. The celebration of Saint Anthony in Les Coves de Vinromà concludes in the evening with the burning of the bonfire and a pa i porta dinner in a tradition-steeped festive atmosphere.
