The 18th edition of Carrera Vertical, the Vertical Race, is coming to Gran Hotel Bali in Benidorm on the 27 April. The sporting event involves running up the hotel’s stairs, which climb 52 floors for a total of 190m. There are 924 steps to run up in total and the finishing line is on the rooftop of the hotel. It’s no mean feat. Athletes from around the world will be taking part in the race, which is part of the Towerrunning World Association Tour. Monetary prizes are up for grabs. Register to compete or come and see the participants taking part in what promises to be an exciting and tough race.
