The month of March is very important for the municipality of Altura, as every 25th of March since 1915 the commemoration of the birth of the Berro Spring is celebrated. Within these festivities we can find events such as the round of the waitresses, the procession of the Virgen de la Cueva Santa, the traditional blessing of the waters of the Spring of El Berro or different bullfighting events.
