Information on Valencia floods

If you’re set to travel to Valencia and the Region of Valencia in the following days, here’s some useful information about the areas that have been affected by the recent flooding.

 

Important information for València city 

  • Find out information about the impact on the city, including public transport, tourist attractions and opening times here. 

  • The flooding has affected a number of towns and villages in the urban area surrounding València as well as some districts south of the city including La Torre, Castellar-Oliveral and Horno de Alcedo. 

  • If you are planning on getting around the city by metro or tram, check out the latest service updates on the Metrovalencia website. 

Important information for other towns 

You can see a list of all the towns and villages and city districts that have been affected by the flooding here. If you’re planning on visiting these areas, whether it be to volunteer or for other reasons, please make sure you find out about transport conditions and access to the areas. 

Whichever destination you are travelling to, before you set off, we recommend reading official sources of information to find out about the safety conditions and whether tourist activities are currently operating. You can do this via the network of Tourist Offices in the Region of Valencia.
