Four monuments (cardboard effigies which will be burnt at the end of the festival) are erected in the municipality. These works of art satirize the latest news and society, giving way eventually to the rite of fire, renewal against the negative before the arrival of spring. The program of events includes the offering of flowers, 'mascletà' (firecrakers) and open-air balls, among others.
