Museo d'Art Contemporani d'Alicante, Alicante Museum of Contemporary Art, known as MACA for short, is a museum you won’t want to miss during your time in Alicante. The museum displays Eusebio Sempere’s impressive collection, which he donated to the city, thereby founding what is one of the most prominent contemporary art galleries both regionally and nationally.

Sitting opposite Santa María Basilica in the heart of the city, the Baroque building (dating to 1685) housing the Alicante Museum of Contemporary Art is the most historic civil structure in the city.
