Dénia is a major tourist attraction, and the rising demand for moorings and berths in the area led the Regional Valencian Government to construct new installations in the northern part of the port of Dénia, comprising 7 quays with more than 500 moorings priced for public use. In this way the town increased its nautical offer with installations that also serve light sailing vessels.
