The Carrer la Mar beach is the town’s main beach. Located next to the fisherman’s quarter near the ‘La Illeta’ watchtower, the port and Club Naútico, it is today the town’s principle tourist attraction. It is nearly 2 km long, and some 30 m wide. Recently restored, its fine golden sand and long shallow shoreline make it perfect for families with children.

The El Campello promenade stretches along its entire length, offering a very lively atmosphere in both summer and winter alike due to the multitude of restaurants, ice-cream parlours and shops located there. The beach has been awarded the Blue Flag from the European Community.

During the summer, the Carrer la Mar beach hosts all kinds of recreational events, a mobile beach library, children's entertainment, sunbed to rental, etc. Special mention should be made of the "“Virgen del Carmen Festivities" held around the 16th of July, an emotional and traditional local celebration in honour of the sailors’ patron saint. In all, this is a perfect holiday destination.

Highlight: Platja del Trajo

Located at foot of the first fisherman’s quarter, El Trajo, this beach is currently home to one section of the sculpture called the Fisherman’s Monument by Arcadi Blasco (1991), which symbolises the union between the sea and the people of El Campello.
