Vivers Beach in Guardamar del Segura extends for 1,210 m along the open coast, with the Segura River to the north and La Babilònia Beach to the south.
This natural stretch of the coast is defined by its fine, golden sand and its unique landscape that combines the sea, dunes and pine trees. The dune system, one of the most important on the Alicante coast, was formed through an extensive reforestation project, leading to the lush vegetation that now serves as a vibrant green lung along the Mediterranean.
In addition to its natural appeal, the area around Vivers Beach is home to important historic heritage. In the midst of the dunes sit the archaeological sites of Rábita Califal, an old Islamic monastery dating to 10th century, and the Phoenician port city of La Fonteta, transporting visitors back over 2,000 years on the Alicante coast. The beach’s nature and the absence of buildings turns this spot in Guardamar del Segura into an ideal place for people looking to unwind in a peaceful, uncrowded setting with great environmental and cultural value.
