Carnaval de Pego is sure to blow everyone away who comes. Thousands of people flock to the city to join in the fun every year. This fiesta, rooted in Pego’s history, also includes a performing arts festival, transforming the streets and transporting everyone to a fairytale land. This year the theme of the carnival is ‘different corners of the planet’, so start planning your outfit now.

On Saturday morning, children in fancy dress take part in games and music, and after, the typical ceremonies of la Pinyata and el Entierro de la Sardina unfold. All you need is a fancy dress costume and heaps of energy. Don’t miss out on the fun.
