Spring and Summer Cultural Program

Many events with shows of music, theater, dance and events for the whole family comprise the cultural program for the next four months May, June, July and August. In the musical line, we can enjoy a wide variety of styles, ranging from flamenco, choral music, music bands, etc. Highlights include the musical The Phantom of the Opera , the concert of Marta Santos, the competition el Cante de las Minas, the festival de la Copla, the concert of the Spanish pop star Antoñito Molina, the international Habaneras and Poliphony Contest, the Reggaeton Beach Festival, the festival Brilla Torrevieja, the play La Colección with the famous actor José Sacristán and in the humorous genre the show of de El Monaguillo, as well as the monologue by Galder Varas.

In the middle of May, the popular Sevillanas Festival, known as May Fair will delight the whole family. The Salinas de Oro Flamenco Festival will offer a vibrant and authentic experience with a show that highlights Andalusian culture and the passion for flamenco music and dance. At the end of the month, a tribute to Mecano will bring us back to the most important Spanish pop group in a musical show featuring all the hits that marked a generation. A highly successful comedy for all audiences, winner of the 2015 Oliver Award for best comedy, will make us laugh throughout the entire performance and continuing with the theater genre, the play The Collection with the famous actor José Sacristán. The final of the Salinas de Oro flamenco festival is also presented with performances by the winners of the selective competitions. As a culmination, Marta Santos, one of the voices of flamenco pop, begins her first tour in Torrevieja, in a concert that promises to be unforgettable.

The month of July is full of events, starting with the Habaneras on the Beach night, an anniversary concert by the Orfeón de Torrevieja, a new Music Series in the Park, the International Band Festival, the International Habaneras Contest and reggaeton lovers will be able to enjoy the Reggaeton Beach Festival with renowned artists.

The month of August begins its programming with the fifth edition of the Brilla Torrevieja festival with a series of concerts with national and international artists as well as a variety of sports, children's and cultural activities, designed to entertain people of all ages and tastes. Another edition of the Torrevieja Carnival Festival will delight Cádiz Carnival enthusiasts. Flamenco will be present with its third Solera Salero y Compás Festival, featuring the winner of the Flamenco de lo Ferro festival. For classical music lovers, an open-air concert will allow them to experience the excitement of music in a natural setting.
