For yet another year, the port district of Castelló de la Plana, El Grao, honours its patron saint, San Pedro, by filling the streets with heaps of activity during the week of 29 June. The highlight of the whole celebration is, without doubt, the Cabalgata de la Mar, an eclectic coastal parade. You also won't want to miss the maritime procession and the beautiful flower offering to San Pedro.

What’s more, there’s fireworks, live music, dressing up, and traditional dances. And you’ve got to try the local cuisine, with the sardine "torrà" - a barbecued feast with bread and wine - a tasty typical delicacy that will satisfy the stomach. So don’t miss out on all the activity and head to El Grao.
