The second Sunday of October, Nules is devoted to its patron saint, Our Lady of Solitude. Being very close to the 9 October (Day of the Valencia Region) and 12 October (Columbus Day), it is always intended that the celebration of the festival coincide with these remarkable dates. Other events which that stand out are the literary contest of the Floral Games, bullfighting shows, the Inn of the tapa and wine, sports activities, the homage to King James I the Conqueror or the commemorative parade on 9 October.
