La Passió, The Passion, in Torreblanca, Castellón, is a prominent Holy Week performance held every Maundy Thursday at ten o’clock at night. First staged in 1979, it features seventeen scenes and lasts approximately two hours.

Most of the scenes of The Passion of Torreblanca take place in the main square, while the Way of the Cross and the final scenes at Calvary are performed in other outdoor locations around the town, adding great realism and visual impact. The dialogues are performed entirely in Valencian, with the participation of many local residents. It promises to be an intense and carefully crafted experience that captivates the audience from the very first moment—an absolute must for experiencing Holy Week in Torreblanca!
