To conclude our list of things to do on the December bank holiday, we’re heading to the province of Alicante where we’re stopping off in Elche to take a look around the Antiques and Collectors’ Market on the Sunday (and explore its incredible heritage) and then Jijona to taste delicious nougat at the Christmas Fair.
Another option is to sing and dance at the concerts running for the Patron Saint Festivities in Torrevieja or visit La Atalaya Castle in Villena where you can take a guided tour that will immerse you in the fortress’ history.
