Come and discover the exhibition Guarnides: Embroidered Elegance. 1940–1970, which explores embroidery and its inspirations during the birth and expansion of Spanish haute couture, in a post-war and socio-historical context. The tours are led by the exhibition’s curator, Guillem Alventosa, who offers an expert insight into the pieces and their historical and artistic background.

The exhibition features original creations by renowned Spanish fashion designers and textile artisans —such as Pedro Rodríguez, Asunción Bastida, Manuel Pertegaz, Herrera y Ollero, Santa Eulàlia and Flora Villarreal— from private collections, never before displayed to the public.
