The landscape interpretation routes are itineraries of environmental education that run through the territory of different rural regions. In them we deal in a coherent way with different themes of territorial, ecological and cultural interest, such as:

Interpretation of the natural and cultural landscape (geology, hydrology, flora and fauna, agriculture, toponymy, human settlements, etc.).

The environmental impacts.

The rural depopulation.

Awareness of climate change.

This route focuses on some of the villages located north of Alpuente, such as La Almeza, La Canaleja and La Cuevarruz. Immersed in a beautiful rural landscape where we still find samples of what the native forests of junipers (travina in local speech) were, these small nuclei keep an ethnographic treasure. These are the local artisans who keep alive a way of living and an ancestral know-how connected with their natural environment, from which they benefit while respecting and caring.
