The Patron Saint of the city, the Virgen de los Lirios, calls from the sanctuary of the Font Roja, thousands of the inhabitants of Alcoy who come in pilgrimage. A great paella is cooked, whilst games and dances complete the festivities. The festivities reach their peak with el almuerzo in the park and the dances that round off the day.
