La Vila Joiosa is exceptional for its beautiful old town with its narrow streets, where we encourage you to take a stroll. Remains from the Iberian, Phoenician and Egyptian periods have been found in this town. It contains the 16th-century Gothic Nuestra Señora de la Asunción Church and the many-coloured hanging houses over the Amadorio River. These are classic selfie locations in the town where everyone wants to have their photo taken! La Vila Joiosa also offers fabulous beaches to make the most of the summer season and restaurants where you can enjoy the finest Mediterranean cuisine.
