The latest edition of Ruta Nocturna por la Sierra de Santa Pola is scheduled for the 20th July. Organised by Club Deportivo Polanens, the night hike starts at the castle. The route will take you some four and a half to five hours to complete and includes a cup of granizado (a refreshing ice drink) and an outdoor picnic at a beautiful natural viewing point, where Agrupación Astronómica de Santa Pola will set up some telescopes so you can gaze at the night sky.
