St. Joseph´s day is celebrated in Benicarló as fallas. Tracas, mascletaes, (firecrackers) and firework displays all help to make noise and gunpowder one of the key elements of this festivity that ends with the burning of each one of the effigies, which are reduced to ashes. The week of Fallas has a never-ending variety of fun and festive acts.
