Located in Alto Palancia county in the province of Castellón, Jérica is a charming village that you can really get to know by wandering its streets, chatting to the locals and gazing at the wealth of heritage populating its historic centre.

Concealed within this picture-postcard destination are defence structures, religious buildings and interesting examples of popular architecture.

During your walk through the historic centre, we recommend taking a look at Fuente de Santa Águeda, an 18th century fountain located in the centre of the village, and the arches of Rocha del Hospital. You should also take a moment to marvel at the three remaining parts of the former village walls.

Jérica is a wonderful place to take a lazy stroll in inland province of Castellón. And if you fancy something a little bit more strenuous, you can find this here too, with the village’s beautiful hiking routes, such as Vuelta de la Hoz, which will immerse you in the depths of nature.
