Peñíscola plays host for a very exciting swimming competition taking place in the Mediterranean Sea on 20 and 21 July. The 3km race will set off from Gran Hotel Peníscola and end at Benicarló. And another more challenging swim of 8 km starts at the castle, taking you through both Benicarló and Peníscola. The organisers have prepared everything to a tee to ensure the swim is comfortable and safe for swimmers. The event offers different categories for swimmers so that people of different ages can participate. Do not miss this exciting open water event that boasts the Templar castle as its dramatic backdrop!
