Due to a papal dispensation, Alboraya is one of the very few cities where the Corpus Christi is not celebrated in relation to the Holy Week. Its celebration is fixed on the first Sunday of July before the 10th, coinciding with the festivity of San Cristobal, the patron saint of the city. The most important event is the precession.
