A unique experience in kayak or SUP along the Júcar River

The Descens Popular del Xúquer 2025 celebrates its fifth edition aiming to gather over 300 participants from all over Spain. This sporting and recreational event offers a unique opportunity to enjoy paddling on the Júcar River, surrounded by beautiful nature.


Four stages of the Descens Popular del Xúquer

The organization has planned four open events for the public to navigate different sections of the river in kayak or paddle board (SUP). Below are the dates, routes, and distances:



📅 1. May 17, 2025 – From Alzira to Algemesí

  • Distance: 5 kilometers
  • Start: Alzira
  • Finish: Algemesí


Popular mode: join with your own kayak or SUP

Participants can also take part in the popular category using their own equipment (kayak or SUP).
