With the arrival of spring, the city of Alzira transforms into an explosion of light, color, and emotion.
For several days, the streets are filled with the sound of firecrackers, the unmistakable scent of gunpowder, and the bustle of the street parades.
The Fallas tradition is lived intensely in every corner, with 35 Fallas committees, more than 5,000 Fallas participants, and a total of 70 large and children's monuments that, after days of admiration, are delivered to the purifying fire in the awaited Cremà.
March 16 marks the start of the big days with the Nit de la Plantà, the moment when the Fallas artists give the final touches to the monuments that will compete for the prizes.
On the afternoon of the 17th, there is the Award Ceremony, where the most impressive monuments and the efforts of each Fallas committee are recognized.
On the 18th, Alzira dresses in solemnity with the traditional Flower Offering to the Virgin of Lluch and Saint Joseph, an emotional parade where the Fallas participants pay tribute in their best outfits.
On the 19th, Saint Joseph's Day, music takes center stage with the Pasdobles Parade, where the bands fill the streets with festive melodies.
As night falls, fire takes center stage with the Cremà of the First Prize of the Special Children's Section, followed by the impressive Cremà of the First Prize of the Special Section, which ends the celebration in a spectacular display of flames and emotion.
Don't miss the opportunity to experience this unique festival, where gunpowder, music, and culture merge into an unforgettable experience.
Come to Alzira and immerse yourself in the Fallas magic!
