The second Monday of January, the pilgrimage of the Holy Angel, guardian of the town of Ayora, is celebrated. It is a feast of special devotion to the town's inhabitants and is characterized by the pilgrimage to the shrine built in his honor, to commemorate the Miracle of the Angel, who in the year 1392 saved the population from the Plague.
