Want to find out more about Fallas, our most emblematic festival? Take a look around the Fallas Artist Musuem.

Listed Intangible Heritage by UNESCO and a Festival of International Tourist Interest, Fallas shares our identity and festivities with the world. If you are keen to immerse yourself in the history of Fallas and admire the talent of the people building the namesake sculptures, make sure you put the Fallas Artist Museum on your to-visit list.

The Fallas Artist Museum, also known as the Fallas Artist Guild Museum, is located in the Ciudad Fallera district in València, and close to the workshops where the artists make the ninots (the smaller sculptures comprising the larger monument) and all the magic happen. During your time at the museum, you can take a look at a large collection of ninots – both for the large fallas and the children’s fallas – that Gremio Artesano de Artistas Falleros has saved from the flames over the years. It is also home to original sketches of the fallas and floats, models and photographs.

Don’t miss the educational falla, which recreates the different processes that go into making the fallas monuments. Throughout the museum, you will explore the tradition of the ninot over time, through Llibrets de Fallas and fallas magazines, transporting you back in time so you can find out more about the history of this age-old celebration.

The Fallas Artist Museum in València is a must-visit if you love Fallas, Valencia’s greatest festivity. Come along to soak up every detail and enjoy your visit. By the time you’ve finished, you’ll want to start all over again.
