Ermita de la Santa Cruz, La Santa Cruz Chapel in Alicante, is a small and lovely place of worship located in one of the city’s most picturesque districts: Santa Cruz.

Situated next to the curtain walls of Santa Bárbara Castle, La Santa Cruz Chapel started being built in the 18th century. Many centuries ago, there would have been a mosque on the site: nowadays La Santa Cruz Chapel sits atop the old mosque and is supported by La Ampolla Tower, which is part of the castle's architecture.
