What are you looking at?
Our webcam gives you a look at Alicante Esplanade, Alicante’s most emblematic esplanade. Sitting next to one of the piers of the port, this walkway is defined by two main characteristics: the palm trees flanking both sides of the esplanade and the paving, comprising 6,600 marble tiles in three different colours that are arranged to look like the waves of the sea. Throughout the year, Alicante Esplanade hosts a number of fairs including Alicante Crafts Fair which fills the area with stalls selling all types of wares. Come and discover this lovely part of the province of Alicante.
What can you do in Alicante?
During your time in Alicante, you simply must visit the esplanade as well as the city’s many other wonders. Alicante is brimming with monuments such as Santa María Basilica, San Nicolás Concathedral and Santa Faz Monastery, which all tell the story of the civilisations that have lived here over the centuries. The beaches in Alicante are a pure joy, and there are many to choose from. For instance San Juan, La Almadraba, La Albufereta and El Postiguet as well as Tabarca Island. And you won’t want to miss out on the delicious gastronomy either.
