You’re going to love the centre of Dénia and all the sights it holds. Come and fall for all of the destination’s architecture and history.

Iglesia Parroquial de San Antonio de Padua, San Antonio de Padua Parish Church in Dénia, was built between the 16th and 17th centuries as part of an old convent that was severely damaged during the War of the Spanish Succession and later conflicts. Start your explorations of the church by gazing at the façade where you can see a sculpture of its namesake saint and a lovely bell tower. When you step inside San Antonio de Padua Parish Church, you’ll see no fewer than eight interesting side chapels, Doric order pillars and a cornice. The choir was rebuilt in the 18th century and the cloister and part of the façade are the only original elements still standing from the old convent.

San Antonio de Padua Parish Church is just one of many sights for you to come and visit during your time in the centre. Another place of worship to put on your list is Nuestra Señora de la Asunción Parish Church.
