What to do in Formentera del Segura
A wander around the Traditional Historic Centre of Formentera del Segura will immerse you in this peaceful farming village that is bathed in the Mediterranean sunlight. Make sure to stop off at La Purísima Parish Church, which was rebuilt in the 19th century following a devastating earthquake.
Afterwards, make your way to El Camino del Pantano Hydraulic Mill, which is part of one of the most iconic sites in Formentera del Segura. This historic water-powered structure is nestled in one of the River Segura’s lush groves.
These groves are former meanders, now transformed into recreational areas surrounded by lush vegetation. Here, nature and tranquillity come together, creating a peaceful backdrop to the mill, a reminder of the county’s agricultural heritage.
