Every August, Sant Jordi hosts the Traditional Trades Show, an event that brings local history, artisanship and traditions to life.

Located in the heart of inland province of Castellón, Sant Jordi is much more than a beautiful village: it’s a guardian of traditions. Every August, just when the Festival in honour of Santiago Apóstol, comes to an end, the streets are filled with history thanks to Muestra de Oficios Tradicionales, the Traditional Trades Show. For one day, artisans and locals recreate the area’s traditional trades: iron mongers, ceramicists, carpenters and much more. This is an opportunity to see what work looked like decades ago with live demonstrations, original tools and plenty of energy. The show is not just a cultural event; it’s also an homage to the older people in the village, their wisdom and rural identity. This is a place that is proud of its past! The event also includes music and activities for all the family that you can enjoy alongside the residents of Sant Jordi. And to round off the experience, in less than 20 minutes you can be on the Vinaròs or Peñíscola coast. Don’t miss it.
