The tower of the Castle of Montroy, of Muslim origin (12th century) is an Almohad construction of a military nature that, in the Middle Ages, served as a nerve center for the concentration of human settlements in the form of farmhouses.


Its square floor plan is formed by four thick load-bearing perimeter walls built with the Arab technique of stone rammed earth, known as "boxed masonry".


Of the castle, as well as of the wall that surrounded the enclosure. Currently there are not many remains of its uprooting, only the homage tower, the protagonist of this article, remains standing.
