What to do in Novetlè
To visit Novetlè, we recommend taking a tour of its small town centre. You will find ceramic altarpieces depicting religious or traditional scenes on some of its façades. The one located in the Nuestra Señora del Rosario Parish Church dates from the 18th century, while the other two, on Pintor Simarro Oltra and Trasagrario streets, date from the 19th century.
The church dates back to the 16th century and, along with the Alquería de Tallada, is one of Novetlè’s most emblematic buildings. This 18th-century farmhouse, also known as the Palacio Señorial de los Tallada, has been restored and converted to public use and has a fascinating façade. Don't miss the public washing area, which has been restored and is a truly photogenic setting.
Your plans in Novetlè should include a hiking route, which will reveal the beauty of the Vernissa mountains. You can set off on an itinerary to the San Diego rock or the top of Vernissa and enjoy truly spectacular views of the entire region. In fact, you can even reach the fantastic castle in neighbouring Xàtiva, passing by ancient ice houses and unique caves. Come and discover Novetlè!
