What to see in Oliva: La Asunción de Nuestra Señora parish church

This three-aisled church has an imposing bell tower, and the details of the transagrario, which reinforces the apse, are also well worth checking out.

Inside, it houses a valuable collection of metalwork and religious sculpture, including a particularly notable 16th-century chalice.

One of its most distinctive features is the Cripta de Santa María, a large underground space in the centre of the church which has now been restored as an atmospheric exhibition hall, bringing history and culture together in one place. Start planning your trip to Oliva!
