Throw yourself into Iberian Edeta at Olocau’s Iberfesta 2023, a unique cultural event featuring dramatizations, workshops and gastronomy.

Taking place since 2013, Iberfesta Olocau is a cultural event revolving around the Iberians that seeks to raise public awareness about Puntal dels Llops archaeological site and the village’s Iberian heritage. The event is held on the second weekend of June and brings history to life in all sorts of ways. Over the course of the weekend, you can take guided tours of Puntal dels Llops, wander around the Iberian Fair, watch dramatizations on the village streets, enjoy activities, exhibitions and workshops at the Manor House, and much more.

The programme includes educational activities for kids, including javelin throwing and ceramic moulding, among other events. At the Manor House, you and the family can visit the children’s library at the Museum of Valencian Prehistory, which is a space dedicated to learning and exploring. Performed by locals under the direction of the experts at the Museum of Valencian Prehistory, the dramatizations taking place throughout the event will transport you back to Iberian times. Iberfesta also opens the door to the rich gastronomy of the past with the Iberian Tapas Tour. For two days, the local bars and restaurants serve tapas made from ancestral ingredients that have been discovered in the archaeological digs in the municipality. Come and throw yourself into the past, which comes to life in the most spectacular way.
