Torrella: Discover What to See

Located in the province of Valencia, Torrella is a great destination for a rural tourism adventure. This small part of La Costera is a traditional-looking village where you’ll come across plenty of enchanting spots.

What to see in Torrella

During your time in Torrella we recommend setting some time aside to visit the Municipal Ethnological Museum, a space that tells the story of the destination. The ethnological collection on display here includes objects and items connected to the professions of times past, such as the manufacturing of esparto and tobacco.

The museum contains a reconstruction of an old kitchen and other rooms in a traditional Torrella home – you won’t help but notice how much daily life has changed. You will also learn how olive oil is made using an olive press.

Another thing to see in Torrella is Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles Parish Church, which was rebuilt following a significant earthquake in 1748. Afterwards, we recommend doing some hiking in Torrella. One trail leads to La Serreta, a lovely nature area populated with aromatic plants and non-irrigated land where you can breathe in beautiful views.

And, of course, you can walk the trail of the historic county of La Costera de Ranes, which connects Torrella with other villages like Vallés, Cerdà, Llanera de Ranes, Rotglà i Corberà and La Granja de la Costera. The route is signposted and has interesting information panels. Come for a getaway to Torrella
