The Monastery Of La Trinidad

This monastery was founded as a hospital, although later it was taken over the Clarist Order of nuns, seeing that Maria, Alfonso the Magnanimous'wife, had chosen it as a place for retreat. The convent is occupied at the present time by an enclosed order of nuns, therefore visiting is not permitted, and the church is only open to coincide with times of masses. The façade is in the flamboyant Gothic style.
