Check out one of València’s most striking, recognisable and cherished landmarks.

Torres de Serranos, Serranos Towers, majestically rise above Turia Gardens, serving as one of the imposing gateways of València’s former medieval wall.

Built in the 14th century, these towers once marked the main entrance to the walled city. Later, they were used as a prison for nobles and knights until the late 19th century.

With their towering, angular design and striking pointed archway, the bold structure and beautiful Gothic details of Serranos Towers are a real highlight.

The panoramic views from the towers, especially from the terraces, are spectacular. Overlooking the city and the old riverbed, the site offers a great vantage point of València city.

After multiple restorations, the Serranos Towers remain one of the city’s most emblematic symbols - an unmissable site if you’re looking to step back in time to admire València’s rich history. Be sure to add it to your sightseeing list.
