750th Anniversary of the Patronage of Saint George in Alcoy. Jubilee Year

Alcoy celebrates the Jubilee Year declared by the Vatican in honor of Saint George, coinciding with the 750th anniversary of his patronage.

It will take place from April 23, 2026, to April 23, 2027, featuring an extensive program of religious, cultural, and festive events for pilgrims and devotees, offering plenary indulgence and a time of grace, according to the concession granted by Rome to the city.

The event is promoted by the Association of Saint George with the support of the Alcoy City Council.
