The 53rd Elche Half Marathon – Gran Premio Jainser, recognised as the oldest half marathon in the world, will take place on Sunday 22 March. Starting together at 9:00 am, the event offers two distances with courses officially certified by the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation: the classic 21.097 km half marathon and a popular 10 km race.

The route takes runners past some of the city’s most iconic sights, including the Palmeral of Elche, allowing participants to enjoy the beauty of a UNESCO World Heritage site along the way. Come and discover an extraordinary city and one of the world’s most historic road-running events.
