Cala Mosca, Mosca Cove, situated in Orihuela in the province of Alicante, is a charming little cove where the sand is sheltered by two rocky points, creating a secluded setting in a crescent shape. The walkways provide easy access, and there’s a shaded zone reserved for those with reduced mobility.
Mosca Cove offers a full range of services including lifeguards, public restrooms, showers to wash the sand off your feet, a chiringuito (beach bar) and restaurant, parasols and hammocks. There’s also a hotel handily placed nearby, sports facilities and a specially adapted reduced mobility parking area, providing access to the beach.
The waters of this cove in Orihuela are perfect for a refreshing swim, and the natural environment is full of fascinating elements to explore, including an original sundial which can be found on the promenade. Mosca Cove is also connected with the neighbouring Estaca Cove, forming a continuous coastal strip along Flamenca beach.
