The sound of the blunderbusses awakens the town in fiestas, the parades parade to the sound of music. The town takes on a medieval air with djellabas and majestic costumes. There are a large number of Moorish and Christian troupes. Each year one of each side captains the fiesta, organising the Embassy which is the most special part of the fiesta, where the entrance of the Christian king into the Moorish castle is represented. As well as the parade of the troupes, there are other events such as the Diana, musical activities, open-air dances, etc.
