On 21 January until 3 March, Sant Vicent del Raspeig welcomes the 36th edition of Semana Musical, a series of eight music concerts in the Auditorio Municipal. This programme is extra special as it is in memory of the local trumpeter Vicente Lillo Cánovas. The programme offers a wide selection of performances, from Northamerican trumpeter Joseph Alessi, Cuban trumpeter Juan Munguía, as well as prominent Spanish musicians, such as Tino de Giraldo, Jorge Pardo and Carles Benavent.
