Music festivals in Castellón
Every year, the Castellón coast strengthens its reputation as a real magnet for international talent, bringing together beach landscapes and top-class line-ups at its summer festivals:

Benicàssim: what are the 10 best music festivals in the Region of Valencia? It would be a tough list to put together, although FIB in Benicàssim would certainly have to be on it. From 16 to 18 July, it will bring thousands of devoted festivalgoers together. Then, just a few weeks later, from 16 to 22 August, the same venue will welcome Rototom Sunsplash.

Burriana: if dancing with your feet in the sand sounds like your kind of plan, Arenal Sound will be taking place from 30 July to 2 August.

Castellón de la Plana: Som Festival is one of those dates that always earns its place on any list of summer festivals in Castellón de la Plana, with performances for all tastes and some excellent food options too. And at Concerts del Pinar, meanwhile, you’ll find some really interesting bands in a brilliant setting.

Morella: from 17 to 23 July, Curso y Festival Internacional de Música Medieval y Renacentista Early Music Morella invites you to travel back in time through sound.

Benlloc, Benassal and Villores: music festivals in the Region of Valencia also include events with rural appeal and a strong connection to the local area, such as Feslloc in Benlloc from 17 to 19 July, Rock Fest Suquet in Benassal on 20 June, and the long-running Aplec dels Ports, from 24 to 27 July, which this year will be held in Villores.

Torrent: on 26 and 27 June 2026, the latest sounds from Big Sound Festival will fill Parc Central in Torrent.

València: throughout July, you’ll be able to hear major international names at Marina Norte in València with the FAR València series, as well as at Conciertos de Viveros, right in the middle of an enormous garden.

Cullera: Cullera will host Zevra Festival from 24 to 27 July and, in August, it will also be the setting for Medusa Festival, from 13 to 17 August.

Gandia: if you love singing at the top of your lungs, Pirata Beach Festival and Festival Mediterránea will be bringing their line-ups to Gandia from 8 to 11 July and from 13 to 15 August respectively.

Requena, Sinarcas and Chera: Tierra Bobal Fest, from 26 to 28 June, combines wine tourism and gastronomy with concerts by artists such as Sidonie and Karmento.

Tavernes de la Valldigna: don’t miss Del Poble Fest on 19 and 20 June, with concerts, humour and a wide range of food options.

Xàtiva: Nit Jove in Xàtiva, on 15 August, brings the musical finishing touch to its great Fira d’Agost.

Ayora: Solana Rock is one of those festivals that makes summer nights feel even better. It takes place on 18 July!

Villena: Villena becomes a hub for rock, heavy metal and electronic music thanks to the roots and reputation of Leyendas del Rock, from 5 to 8 August, as well as Aúpa Lumbreiras and Deriva Festival, both taking place from 13 to 15 August.

Agres: Poma Rock offers the perfect mix of alternative live music and nature on 8 August.

Torrevieja: for a full-on summer experience, Torrevieja celebrates Low Festival at the end of July, on 31 July and 1 and 2 August. Here, national and international bands from the indie scene show exactly what they can do.

Santa Pola: Siente Santa Pola Xperience is a great choice for listening to artists such as Kiko Veneno and El Jincho, over the weekends from 3 to 19 July.

Villajoyosa: Maror Festival, from 26 to 27 June, will get you moving to the rhythm of the music, while also offering a food area, market and interesting activities.

Beneixama: Beneixama Rock, on 25 July, will include a concert by Ramonets in its line-up, making it perfect to enjoy with younger festivalgoers too.

Alicante: Área 12 festival is preparing some big concerts, along with a tribute to 90s nostalgia. The dates will be 27 June, 8 and 11 July, and 21 and 22 August. Finally, for something a little different, there is FRESCA Festival d'Arts Escèniques d'Alacant, from 17 to 25 July, with contemporary dance, circus, theatre, flamenco and more.
